I am interested in a loan, what are the requirements?

Provide our standard requirements:

• Job Letter
• 2 Government Issued Ids
• Last 2 months’ pay slips
• Proof of address (Utility Bill, Bank or Credit Union Statement, Credit Card Statement)
• TRN Card (Only applicable for Jamaica)
• Last 3 months’ bank statements (Only applicable for Bermuda)
• Last 6 months bank statements (Only applicable for Jamaica Standing Order Customers)

Please note at this time, FastCash has reduced its operations to minimize the spread of the COVID:19 virus. As a result, loan processing has been halted. However, we urge you to apply for a loan with us and leave your details with us and we will contact you in the future once the situation returns to normal.

Can I get a Top Up loan / refinance?

FastCash does have Top Up Loan facility which we are excited about. However, at this time our branches are operating at very reduced staff levels. We regrettably are unable to process top ups and refinances. Here are the details for our Top Up Loan:
If you have an existing loan with us, you can apply for an additional:

OECS/BIM/BERM: $1000 with up to 6 months to repay
Jamaica: $50,000 with up to 6 months to repay

All you need to apply are:

• Job Letter

I have been laid off, will FastCash freeze my account?

All FastCash loans come with a payment protection plan. We are sorry to hear this, however as your loan is eligible for insurance, you may be covered for up to a maximum of six months, I am sure this is a great relief to you at this time. Your employer would have given you documentation in this regard, please provide this to FastCash so that we can file your insurance claim for approval as soon as possible. I would like to know more about the Group Protection Plan.

We at FastCash have anticipated and planned for difficult and uncertain times such as those we currently live in. In particular, our personal lending products incorporate a payment protection feature that is designed to alleviate the stress of having to service a debt obligation during periods of life changes.
Insurance cover is automatically provided to our active personal lending customers
OECS and BIM: Covers persons between 18-70 years and Jamaica: 18 to 64 years
becomes effective three months after we disburse that loan. Please download the form here.
Our insurance plan covers the following risks:
• Death
• Critical illness
• Temporary disability
• Permanent disability
• Involuntary loss of employment (i.e.., if the customer is laid off from work or is made redundant)

Why am I not eligible to claim for involuntary loss of employment?

Our insurance cover customers OECS and Bim: between the ages of 18-70 years and Jamaica: 18-64 years. Your loan has to be paid on time prior to the date you lost your job. We cover persons who were laid off or made redundant. This coverage does not extend to persons who were terminated or resigned. Additionally, your loan has to be matured for at least 3 months after the loan issue date before you can start to claim.
