Roseau, Dominica – August 20th, 2018 – FastCash Dominica remains steadfast in its commitment to the development of Sports and Education, two areas of paramount importance to its corporate social responsibility mandate.

Over the past 10 years, FastCash have been supporting education through its involvement and financial support through sponsorship, to help the youth fulfill their educational aspirations. To this end, FastCash continues to operate in ways that adds value to the communities in Dominica and other Caribbean territories in which it operates across the region.

“Education and Sports are two of our main areas of Sponsorship at FastCash”, said Yuri Jones, Country Manager of FastCash Dominica. “Throughout the year, we assisted primary and secondary schools across the island during Sports Day activities and near the end of the school year during graduation season. Our assistance went towards the procurement of plaques, medals and trophies that were used to recognize stellar performances in varied disciplines”.

This year FastCash will provide three clients who took advantage of their Back to School promotion with a scholarship for their students. Country Manager Yuri Jones revealed, “Every year during the summer months, we often give away backpacks and stationary to several lucky clients. We have taken our efforts one step further by partnering with the Dominica National Youth Council to donate school supplies to deserving students, and will announce the winners of three scholarships in the amount of Eight Hundred Dollars each.

According to Mr. Jones, FastCash believes it is important to give back, an endeavor which goes beyond providing small cash advances. “At FastCash Dominica, we are committed to helping the communities we serve and we believe that supporting Education is a great way to do this.”
